Lesbian and living with HIV?
Untenu Foundation is involved in Cambodia’s LGBTI community, specially those who are living with HIV. The L in LGBTI is an underexposed group. Lesbian women have the least risk of being infected with HIV in most countries. In Cambodia however, that is different. Through CamASEAN we received a request to help a transgender in Kandal who had a severely weakened condition. After being tested on HIV she appeared to have a viral load of less than 100, diagnosis: AIDS.
