Lesbian and living with HIV?
Untenu Foundation is involved in Cambodia’s LGBTI community, specially those who are living with HIV. The L in LGBTI is an underexposed group. Lesbian women have the least risk of being infected with HIV in most countries. In Cambodia however, that is different. Recently the Board of Untenu Foundation has appointed the members of the Advisory Board, after the Rules of Procedure was adopted. Yesterday it was confirmed in a joint meeting which also adopted the Annual Report 2015 and Work Plan & Budget 2016. Untenu full steam ahead!
Kandal: trans woman tested to late; cd4 under 100
Through CamASEAN we received a request to help a transgender in Kandal who had a severely weakened condition. After being tested on HIV she appeared to have a viral load of less than 100, diagnosis: AIDS.
