A former singer from Kampong Cham was helped this week.  As a person living with HIV with diabetes, he developed bronchitis – for which he was admitted to a hospital in the capital.

HIV, diabetes and bronchitis

In the past he worked as a singer in Beergardens. After discovering his HIV positive status, he made a living as a bag seller in another city.

In Phnom Penh he was taken care of by friends when he was admitted to hospital for bronchitis. When his friends and former colleagues were no longer able to bear the costs, he ended up at our partner organization Bandanh Chaktomok.
