Positive in the Kingdom of Wonders

Posted on 03.03.20 by Ron van Zeeland

Positive

Friday January 6, Untenu Foundation organizes in cooperation with CinemAsia a program with 3 short documentaries about HIV-positive LGBTIQs in Cambodia – the Kingdom of Wonders.

Positive LGBTQs in Cambodia

This is Larksmy. A proud transgender woman who lives in Cambodia. Her story and that of others will be told during Positive in The Kingdom of Wonders on Friday 6 in the LGBTQ + Open Space.

Our Dutch Untenu Foundation (“rainbow” in Khmer) supported Larksmy with emergency aid eight years ago. She is doing well now. With our help, ATLAS2018 documented the story of Larksmy.

The Untenu Foundation wants to tell stories about the living conditions of our community in an Asian country that rarely makes headlines. On March 6 we show three mini documentaries i.s.m. ATLAS2018 and Document Our History Now.

See you on March 6 or at the Queer Art Brunch on March 7, Sousdey!
