Untenu has signed a cooperation agreement with Rambutan Hotels & Resorts Cambodia (hereinafter: Rambutan). The agreement signed by Bandanh Chaktomok (National LGBT Network Cambodia, hereafter: BC) provides paid apprenticeships for LGBTIs with HIV.
Paid internships & language classes
Our Cambodian partner organization BC will screen candidates and will propose them together with Untenu for a paid internship at Rambutan. The latter will see what the possibilities are for each candidate. In the first three months, Untenu pays for English lessons, and after completing the first three months off the internship successfully, Rambutan continue to pay for the language lessons.
Furthermore, Untenu will pay for a medical and dental check-up and if needed treatment for the candidates and Untenu will pay footwear and work clothes. It is a paid internship, so candidates immediately have an income.
Five people are eligible for this test initially. If successful, Untenu will raise funds for more paid internships.
